Compostable Hot Cup Lid for 8 oz Hot Cups

Available in package of 50 or case of 1000.

These are certified compostable hot cup lid made from CPLA, a fully compostable corn plastic composite.

Designed to fit all of our 8oz Compostable Hot cups except for the 8oz bamboo insulated cups. These bamboo cups use the same lids as the larger 10->20oz cups.

Does not fit 10->20oz Hot Cups!

Traditional hot cups are lined with petroleum, the world's most valuable, non-renewable resource.  Polylactic acid (PLA) or "corn plastic" is made from annually renewable resources, not oil.  These lids are compostable in commercial compost facilities, and not designed for composting in your backyard pile.  Compost is a great way to improve vital soil resources and divert waste that would otherwise be landfilled.
