These cups are made of renewable bamboo instead of slower growing tree fiber. The cups have the same durability and texture as regular paper cups. The bamboo fiber and PLA lining are made entirely from renewable resources that can be grown again and again. PLA is a plant-based bioplastic that provides a very durable water proof coating. Compostable, renewable, good looking and functional. You couldn't ask for a better fit.
